Softball coach accused of sexually abusing minor for the past 7 years

WOODFORD COUNTY, Ill. (WEEK/Gray News) - A youth travel softball coach is in the Woodford County Jail after allegations of sexual offenses against a minor.According to the Woodford County State’s Attorney’s Office, Jason Rockhold was arrested Monday after a two-week investigation to compile and review evidence after an initial disclosure. Rockhold is facing multiple charges that include criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual abuse, possession of criminal sexual abuse material and grooming.The Woodford County State’s Attorney filed a petition to deny pretrial release on Wednesday, detailing the alleged actions Rockhold made against a minor over the last seven years.USSSA Fastpitch lists him as the head coach and manager of a 16U softball team.
