UPTOWN — Teens with Chase Park’s after-school program have once again transformed the facility’s old theater into a haunted house to raise money for the park’s teen programs. The 16th annual “Park After Dark” haunted house kicks off Friday at Chase Park, 4701 N. Ashland Ave., and runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Nov. 1. The attraction is entirely designed and staffed by teens from Chase Park’s “Society of Screams” — a program off-shoot of the Chicago Park District’s Teen Leadership Club at Chase Park.  Tickets to the haunted house are $16 and must be purchased online. People must show up to the haunted house based on the timed-entry ticket they purchase. The haunted house is rated PG-13, meaning no unaccompanied kids under the age of 13 are allowed.
